The Major’s event is to be held again over the weekend of 12th, 13th and 14th September 2025 at Green Hall Farm, near Llanfyllin, Powys SY22 5LG.
The trial will be run over both the Saturday and Sunday with up to 10 sections each day. As with previous Majors trials, this trial is classless. Teams of three drivers representing their club will compete over the weekend for the Majors Trophy - the Rose Bowl. A shield is also presented for the highest placed team driving Standard Vehicles, and the Ladies Trophy will be awarded to the best all-female team.
All MROC club members are welcome to come and enjoy the weekend, whether helping out with setting the weekend up, competing, marshalling, camping or simply spectating. It’s a great way to get to know other club members, make friends and enjoy a weekend in the countryside surrounded by Land Rovers!
Camping is available on site at £30.00 per pitch for the whole weekend. The campsite will be open at 12 noon on Friday 12th September, closing 12 noon on Monday 15th September.
There will be water, toilets and an Elsan point on site, plus a bar and catering supplied by The Happy Herefords.
MROC & other ALRC Club entrants all welcome !
See the comment ref Marshals below !
There are always plenty of jobs to do, both in preparation for the event and on the weekend itself, and extra help is always very welcome, especially marshals. If you would like to get involved and be in the thick of the action over the weekend, please contact any member of Committee, or email marshal@mroc.co.uk.
As usual for the Major's & most large interclub events, Teams MUST bring a marshal for each trial day. The marshal can be varied each day.
Volunteer marshals - As well as team marshals, we also need additional volunteer marshals to support each days trialling.
Please contact us if you're interested in helping out.
NB : There will be lunch provided for all marshals
Spectators are welcome.
