Ian passed away on Sunday 5th May after moving to Myton Hospice. His funeral was on 11th June at St Bartholomew’s Church, Binley, followed by burial at Lenton’s Lane Cemetery.
Sadly, Ian passed away on Sunday 5th May after moving to Myton Hospice. A member since 1978, Ian and his wife Brenda (aka Blossom) will be remembered by longer-standing members as regulars at caravan rallies over the years, including the annual Welland Steam Rally.
The funeral was on 11th June at St Bartholomew’s Church, Binley, Coventry at 12.45, followed by burial at Lenton’s Lane Cemetery at 2.00pm. He went in a Land Rover hearse, followed by family and friends in Land Rovers, taking the scenic route past Rolls-Royce in Ansty. A wake followed at Broad Street Rugby Football Club in Binley Woods, Ian’s home.
